Becoming a doctor was a goal of mine from a very young age and I feel blessed that I get to do this as my career each day. I love serving the community I grew up in as a Family Physician seeing all ages of patients from newborns to end of life. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters and a rambunctious golden retriever named Seargent. In my free time, I enjoying taking time to be active through running and find this as a great stress relief after a busy day. As a family, we love spending time in the warm sunny Florida weather!

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I wanted to find a career where I could work with individuals to improve their health. I love educating patients about ways to do this – whether it be through diet changes, movement, medications or a combination of all of these things.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I was excited to be able to serve the community I grew up in! HCH has so many of the resources of a larger hospital system but with a more personalized approach of a community based hospital.
