I have been a Nurse Practitioner since 2019, but I have been a part of HCH since 2006. I worked many years as an OB nurse and circulating nurse in surgery before going back to school. I really enjoyed working with our orthopedic surgeons as a nurse in surgery and was excited when I was given the opportunity to join their team as an advanced practice provider.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
Becoming a nurse was something I wanted to do from a young age. I have always enjoyed caring for patients, and now I have the opportunity to help our orthopedic patients improve their quality of life.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I chose to work at HCH because of the people and the family-like atmosphere. Co-workers are always willing to help out and put family first.
