Danielle Ogilvie, FNP-C

I began my healthcare career as a registered nurse in 2007 after graduating with an associate’s degree from Vincennes University. I provided bedside nursing care in step-down and emergency department settings for over a decade. During my time working in the ER, I recognized that there was a growing gap in access to primary healthcare services that was negatively affecting patient care and outcomes. Desiring to expand my knowledge and improve healthcare access, I went on to pursue further education, earning a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 2013 and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2019. I became a family nurse practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners that same year. I joined Henry Community Health in 2020.
As a nurse practitioner, I am dedicated to delivering compassionate and personalized patient-centered care. I believe in empowering patients to take an active role in their health and I strive to foster an environment that encourages and supports this approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and our 3 dogs, traveling, solving puzzles, and reading a good book.
