Scholarships and Support for Nursing Careers
The path to becoming a nurse can seem financially daunting, but numerous scholarships and support programs are available to help individuals advance their careers in the nursing profession. These resources not only make education more accessible but also enable aspiring nurses to explore diverse career paths.
Henry Community Health awards scholarships internally to those care team members who are seeking to further their education in a healthcare-related field. We accept applications throughout the year and review them on a rolling basis. The team members who are awarded scholarships commit to staying with Henry Community Health for one to three years, depending on the amount awarded.
“The scholarship program here at Henry Community Health had a great impact on my career. I started as a nurse with my associate’s degree…in using the scholarships I was offered I was able to complete my bachelor’s degree.”

In addition to scholarships, Henry Community Health also provides an in-house medical assisting program allowing interested employees to earn their certification as a clinical medical assistant (MA). Learn more about the previous MA class.
