My name is Kristin Shields, and I have been practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant since 2005. I have experience in emergency medicine, orthopedics and physiatry. I currently practice for Interventional Spine and Pain with an excellent team that strives to help patients to the best of their ability to feel better and live healthy lives.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I decided to go into healthcare because I was always interested in science while in school and found that the medical field fit me. I enjoy helping others as best as I can and hopefully encourage them to live their lives as healthy as possible.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I chose to work at HCH because I felt that the staff at HCH and the community were very welcoming and kind. I felt that HCH was an entire team no matter what role or position people held and everyone helped each other while putting patients first.
