Kenton S. Hilbish, MD

I am originally from Elkhart, Indiana. I went to college at Indiana Wesleyan University, where I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. I earned my medical degree from Indiana University and completed my residency training at Riley Hospital for Children. I also completed a year as Chief Resident working with residents and hospital staff. I have a particular interest in the care of babies but enjoy taking care of all ages. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with his wife and 2 children. I enjoy watching my kids perform ballet and going to Disney World. I also enjoy fishing, exercising, and watching the Colts play football.
About Dr. Hilbish
Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I went into healthcare because I love kids and I wanted to help keep them healthy and developing normally.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I chose to work at HCH because it provided a small-town feel that allowed me to not only connect with my patients but also with the hospital staff. It really feels like working on a close team with a common goal of helping the community.
