Henry Community Health Board of Trustees announced today that current President and CEO Paul Janssen will retire effective August 1, 2022. The Board of Trustees has appointed Brian Ring to succeed Janssen as President and CEO beginning in August 2022.
Janssen has held the role of President and CEO for the past 11 years, although he has served Henry Community Health for 41 years.
“When people ask why I have worked at one place for so long I always answer that it is because of the people,” said Janssen. “I have had an opportunity to work with an exceptional team over the years, including the hospital board, a talented medical staff and extraordinary team members,” he continued.
Brian Ring, currently serves HCH as Chief Operating Officer. Ring is no stranger to HCH. He began his HCH career in 1997.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Administrative team, and our 800+ team members, we want to thank Paul for his 41 years of service to HCH and this community. We are sincerely grateful for his leadership and dedication to Henry Community Health and wish him the best in his retirement,” said Ring.
Janssen will continue to serve HCH in an advisory capacity until December 31, 2023.
