Using invaluable feedback from patients, caregivers, staff, and the HCH Partners Council, we upgraded our site to make it easy to get excellent, compassionate care close to home.

Why was now the right time to invest in a website redesign? 

This website redesign comes at the perfect moment. The previous site had become increasingly outdated, creating frustration for patients attempting to access critical information about their healthcare. The old navigation was cumbersome, often requiring multiple clicks to find basic details about services, providers, or appointment scheduling. 

By implementing this comprehensive redesign, HCH is not only refreshing its visual brand identity but also significantly enhancing its digital presence in an increasingly online healthcare environment. 

Most importantly, the new website delivers a vastly improved digital experience for patients, with intuitive navigation, streamlined information architecture, and mobile-friendly design—all critical factors in today’s healthcare landscape where patients expect the same level of digital convenience from their healthcare providers that they enjoy in other aspects of their lives.

How does the new website improve the user experience?

During the website redesign process, we kept the user experience at the forefront of all of our decision-making. We prioritized and made more easily accessible all of the information that people look for most. From service lines to resource guides, we hope that all of the patients, newcomers, and community members find our new website easier to navigate. 

What are some of the most exciting new features?

The updated provider profile pages now put so much more information at your fingertips, including star ratings and written reviews, so prospective patients can quickly view feedback from others who have received care from specific providers so they feel empowered to make more informed decisions about their healthcare. 

The visuals are another exciting feature. We love our staff, so on the new homepage, we’ve integrated a rolling video featuring the people of HCH. We’ve also incorporated icons for different service lines to make it easier to visually distinguish between care options.

How does the redesign support HCH’s mission and goals?

We understand that searching for healthcare isn’t easy and that an easy-to-use website is key to helping the people in the communities we serve live healthier lives. Our new website helps support our vision by providing easy access to the services and free resources that they need.

What’s next for Henry Community Health?

The opening of our new Knightstown campus marks a significant milestone in HCH’s evolution beyond a small rural hospital. As a growing rural health system, we’re proud to offer advanced medical technologies while maintaining our commitment to compassionate, community-based care. The new website will support this growth where our old site had boxed us in. 


The new Henry Community Health website was designed and developed in partnership with TBH Creative, a marketing and web design agency located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
